IFC Midnight nabs sniper thriller “Carnage Park” – SXSW

PanARMENIAN.Net - IFC Midnight has pulled the trigger on U.S. rights to Carnage Park, the sniper horror pic from writer-director Mickey Keating. The film premiered at Sundance and screened at SXSW over the weekend, according to Deadline.

Set in 1978, it follows two bank robbers and their hostage as they flee the law after a botched holdup in a rural California town. Taking the back roads, they unwittingly drive into a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a psychotic ex-military sniper who doesn’t dig strangers.
