“Game of Thrones” season 6 premiere clip debuts at SXSW

PanARMENIAN.Net - Just when you thought you couldn't be more excited about the upcoming season 6 of "Game of Thrones", HBO sent fans into a frenzy with a new sneak peek debuted at the South By Southwest (SXSW) festival, AceShowbiz said. During the annual conference held in Austin, Texas, audience were treated to a 30-second clip from the season premiere.

While the video has not been made available online, descriptions of the said footage appeared on Winter Is Coming. According to the fansite, [SPOILER ALERT!] the clip opens with a shot of Jon Snow lying motionless on the snow, just like the scene we saw in the recently released trailer.

It then cuts to show Jon's body in the chamber. Melisandre and Ser Davos stand over it and the priestess says of her vision, "I saw him. In the flames. Fighting at Winterfell." Davos replies, "I can't speak for the flames, but he's gone."

Melisandre believes in her visions, but after admitting that they could be wrong, will she still trust it and resurrect Jon? The answer is only in the sixth season which will premiere Sunday, April 24 at 9 P.M. on HBO.
