Ben Affleck has written script for a solo Batman movieMarch 31, 2016 - 10:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Ben Affleck is deeply invested in Batman. The actor, who portrays the Caped Crusader in Box Office hit "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", has written a script for a solo Batman movie, AceShowbiz said. William Morris Endeavor co-CEO Patrick Whitesell, whose agency represents Affleck, confirmed the project. Asked about how many movies Affleck had signed up to, Whitesell said, "He's contracted to do at least Justice League [Part] One and Two, so at least three times wearing the cape." Whitesell added, "There's a script that he's written that is a really cool [Batman] idea, so that's out there as an option." Word spread last year that Affleck was working on a standalone Dark Knight movie as director, star and co-writer. He had developed the idea with DC Entertainment CCO Geoff Johns last summer. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly earlier this month, Affleck also confirmed that the Batman project was "in development". Admitting to be "one movie at a time guy", Affleck was working on an adaptation of thriller novel "Live by Night" by author Dennis Lehane. "That's where my focus is, and I tend to be a one movie at a time guy. So, when I'm finished with this movie, I'll then focus on my next movie and figure out what that will be," Affleck said at that time. As a scribe, he had written the scripts of "Gone Baby Gone" and "The Town" among others.
