Florence + The Machine covers “Stand By Me” for vid game Final Fantasy

PanARMENIAN.Net - The latest edition of the classic video game, Final Fantasy XV, is due for release at the end of September, and last night the trailer dropped. It includes a brand new recording from Florence and the Machine - a cover of Ben E. King's 'Stand By Me', Gigwise said.

"I've always seen Final Fantasy as mythical, beautiful and epic," said Florence Welch in a statement. "'Stand By Me' is one of the greatest songs probably of all time and you can’t really improve on it, you just have to make it your own.

"For me it was just about bringing the song into the world of Florence and the Machine and the world of Final Fantasy."
