The Great Escape announce 100 new artists & new festival spinoff

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Great Escape Festival in Brighton has announced a huge 100 new artists for their already promising line up. With Oh Wonder, Songhoy Blues and Stormzy headlining the festival, they have now announced the likes of Johnny Lloyd, Milk Teeth and Barns Courtney, Gigwise reports.

The Brighton based festival prides itself on revealing new music, or at least giving it a platform to reveal itself, and its newly announced line up suggests just that, Gigwise said. Also making itself more available to the younger festival-goers, Great Escape has announced the release of its Young Adults tickets and line up. The younger segment of the festival will see the likes of The Mystery Jets and the Joy Formidable for a cut-price ticket.

There is also the announcement of the Late Escape line up. This part of the festival will focus on giving electronic and dance artists, which will be featuring none other than, RnB producer and DJ, Throwing Shade, who said, “it’s so exciting to be performing at one of the best festivals for new and undiscovered music – especially in Brighton, one of my favourite cities!”

Festival organiser, Kevin Moore, said: “I really do feel we’ve got something for every type of new music fan, no matter what you’re into. The addition of our Young Adult wristbands for those aged 16 – 17, along with our Late Escape programming has opened the festival to new attendees and fans. I can’t wait to see everyone in Brighton very soon.”

The Great Escape festival takes place in Brighton between 19 and 21 May.
