Motörhead’s final tour documented in new live album & filmApril 1, 2016 - 14:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Motörhead will release a live album and film filmed and recorded at two shows during their last-ever tour, NME reports. The band’s frontman Lemmy passed away on December 28, 2015, with the group’s final concert taking place in Berlin earlier that month (December 11). However, it is the group’s Munich gigs, which took place on November 20 and 21, that will be documented in this new release. Titled Clean Your Clock, the release will come on coloured double vinyl, as well as CD, DVD and blu-ray. Lemmy passed away last December, following a short battle with cancer. He was aged 70. Lemmy's funeral was held in Los Angeles on January 9, with Dave Grohl, Slash and more in attendance. Speaking at the service, Slash said of Lemmy: "He was such a fucking great example that much of my peers want to be. He was just true to school and had more integrity in one finger than most rock and rollers." Following his death, 'Ace Of Spades' made it to Number 13 in the UK Singles Chart. Meanwhile, Download Festival organisers have confirmed that they have renamed its main stage after Lemmy. Motorhead were due to perform at Download 2016 but pulled out after Lemmy died of cancer in December. 'The Lemmy Stage' this year will be headlined by Iron Maiden, Rammstein and Black Sabbath with festival boss Andy Copping stating that "a suitable tribute" to Lemmy will also take place.
