Gravity knockoff Adr1ft set for May launch on HTC Vive

PanARMENIAN.Net - Adr1ft - aka Gravity: The Game - has been given a release date on HTC Vive, Digital Spy reports.

Developer Three One Zero has confirmed that the space adventure title will make its HTC Vive debut in May.

And the good news is that if you already own the game on Steam, all you've got to do is fire it up, put on your Vive headset - clear away all the furniture - and have a sick bag on standby, Digital Spy said.

The development team will release a compatibility update closer to launch, but haven't confirmed when.

The game is already out on Oculus Rift and Steam, and will eventually be released on Xbox One and PS4.

Set in the year 2037, the first-person space game challenges players to survive a catastrophic disaster on board a destroyed space station.

The HTC Vive will ship to early adopters in April, before going on general sale in May. You can try it for yourself by visiting Currys PC World in Leeds, Reading and Tottenham Court Road in London, Digital Spy said.

It comes with the Vive head-mounted display, as well as the Vive Station and Vive Link Box that helps map your space in the virtual world. There's also a pair of the awesome HTC Vive controllers, and some Vive Ear Buds.
