"Game of Thrones" season 6 unveils new clip ahead of debut (video)

PanARMENIAN.Net - A few weeks shy of "Game of Thrones" season 6 debut, another scene from the first episode has been previewed. Liam Cunningham shared the clip when he appeared on "CONAN" Thursday night, April 7 to talk about the new season of the hit HBO series, AceShowbiz reports.

The less-than-a-minute sneak peek sees Davos Seaworth (Cunningham) and some loyalists to Jon Snow readying to fight the Night's Watch traitors at Castle Black. Ser Alliser Thorne, Olly and others try to break down the door of a room where Jon's body is lying, while Jon's direwolf Ghost is ready to defend its master.

During an interview with Conan O'Brien, he was asked the question that has been asked perhaps a thousand times since the fifth season finale, which is if Jon is dead or not. Claiming that HBO had 50 snipers ready to shoot him if he gave away a spoiler about the show, he chose not to answer it.

There have been speculations that Davos and Melisandre (Carice van Houten) will finally team up to bring Jon back to life. While the actress remains mum on that possibility, she does reveal that her character's arc is "going into a different direction." She explains to EW, "We see somebody whose whole belief system is tumbling down. She's completely confused, and I really like to play that. After all the security and strength and pride, now we see something completely different."

"Game of Thrones" season 6 kicks off Sunday, April 24 on HBO.
