Robert Downey Jr. says “Sherlock Holmes 3” may film in 2016

PanARMENIAN.Net - Robert Downey Jr. will be back for "Sherlock Holmes 3". The 51-year-old actor hopes to shoot the third installment of the "Sherlock Holmes" film series before he suits up for "Avengers: Infinity War Part I", AceShowbiz reports.

Robert told ShortList that "Sherlock Holmes 3" would start production with Guy Ritchie before the end of the year. "We're talking about it right now," said the "Iron Man" actor. "We can do some preliminary stuff." He admitted that their busy schedules caused the delay in 2011's "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows"

"If we could shoot it on Skype, we could have the whole [movie] done in a week," Robert explained, "When we're making those 'Sherlock' movies it is off the hook. [So] we'll attempt to make one this year. It really is a big deal to go and do those movies. I'm tired all the time, but I'm so excited about it."

Robert said he was looking forward to discussing "Sherlock Holmes 3" with Guy when he arrived in U.K. to promote "Captain America: Civil War". "He'll say 'I'll meet you on my bike,' all that sort of macho stuff," he said. "I've always considered riding a bike in London as taking your life in your own hands. Guy makes it look easy."

Robert has reportedly closed a deal to join Tom Holland" in "Spider-Man: Homecoming". It's likely Iron Man won't be the only superhero to appear in the reboot.
