Will Ferrell to play 40th U.S. President Ronald Reagan in biopic

PanARMENIAN.Net - Will Ferrell is going to The White House in his next movie role. As AceShowbiz reports citing Variety, the 48-year-old actor has been tapped to play the 40th President of the United States, Ronald Reagan, in an upcoming biopic aptly titled "Reagan", AceShowbiz reports.

The feature film is expected to begin at "the start of the ex-president's second term when he falls into dementia and an ambitious intern is tasked with convincing the commander in chief that he is an actor playing the president in a movie."

The story was penned by Mike Rosolio. It became so popular after making it into The Black List that Lena Dunham and John Cho did a live read in March.

Will Ferrell is no stranger to playing President. He has portrayed George W. Bush in various comedy sketches. He was last seen on the big screen in "Zoolander 2". His next feature films include "The Lego Movie Sequel", "Daddy's Home 2", "Zeroville" and "The House".
