Karabakh shows restraint as Azerbaijan violates ceasefire

PanARMENIAN.Net - The operative situation remained unchanged on the Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact overnight on May 6-7, Karabakh Defense Army says.

The Azerbaijani troops, in particular, used various caliber firearms and an 82-mm mortar to violate the verbal agreement on the ceasefire.

The Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army troops showed restraint and retaliated only in case of extreme necessity.

The Azerbaijani side violated the verbal agreement on the ceasefire mainly from various caliber firearms overnight on May 5-6, also using 82-mm mortars and an RPG-7 grenade launcher in some sections of the frontline.
