Reports on Karabakh losses need to be clarified: official

PanARMENIAN.Net - ANI Armenian Research Center’s data on the Armenian side’s losses in the course of the 4-day war in early April “are generally not true;” certain terms need to be adjusted, a spokesperson for the Armenian Defense Ministry said.

According to ANI center, the Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army has lost 7 positions in the southern direction, while in the northern direction “14 more positions were controlled by the Armenian troops before April 1-2.” According to the report, those territories are not big.

Nevertheless, Artsrun Hovhannisyan says this information is much closer to the reality than previous publications “if we reconsider, clarify certain terms.”

According to Hovhannisyan, discussing such positional changes in time of war is wrong, because “if military actions continue in any format and certain developments occur in a particular area, discussing such details could seriously jeopardize operations.”
