easyJet smart shoes let you navigate with your feet

PanARMENIAN.Net - Even though GPS has undoubtedly helped all of us out of a maze-like navigation conundrum at some point, airline company easyJet is hoping to improve the process even further with the introduction of its 'Sneakair', Digital Spy said.

The prototype smart shoe, which connects via Bluetooth to a smartphone app, will direct the wearer using small vibrating sensors within the shoe.

The technology will mean that the inevitable stages of trying to figure out which direction to begin your journey in, and keeping your phone out in front of you like a revolutionary compass, could soon be a thing of the past, Digital Spy said.

Although, we do have some reservations about the colour and branding. easyJet's orange isn't everyone's colour, and you'll have to seriously consider whether you want to look like an advertisement for an airliner as you wander around new places, Digital Spy said.

But it's hard to knock the technology, especially as it could reduce the chance of your phone getting nicked in foreign lands - we just wish the guys at Nike thought of it first, Digital Spy said.
