Drake Remains atop of Billboard 200 as Radiohead Debuts at No. 3

PanARMENIAN.Net - Drake once again tops Billboard 200 with his new album, "Views". As AceShowbiz reports citing Nielsen Music, the record, which last week debuted with 1.04 million units, is spending its second week at the summit with 219,000 equivalent units earned in the week ending May 12.

With 175,000 in pure album sales, the project has sold a total of 1.03 million in its second week. It becomes the first album released in 2016 to cross the 1 million mark, though it's not the only set to have sold more than a million this year. Adele's "25", which came out last October, has sold 1.27 million this year for a total of 8.71 million.

Back on this week's Billboard 200, Beyonce Knowles' "Lemonade" is also a non-mover as it stays at No. 2 with another 202,000 units. Behind the former first placer is Radiohead's "A Moon Shaped Pool" that gives the band their sixth top 10 effort as it opens at No. 3 with 181,000 units.

That figure includes 173,000 in pure albums, their largest sales week since 2003. That year, the band's "Hail to the Thief" debuted and peaked at No. 3 with 300,000 sold.

Keith Urban is the next newcomer on the latest Billboard 200. He also collects his sixth top 10 album with "Ripcord", which launches at No. 4 with 106,000 units. Prince's "The Very Best of Prince" closes out the top 5, falling one rung from last week's No. 4 with 77,000 units.

Cole Swindell lands at No. 6 with his second top 10 set, "You Should Be Here", which earns 76,000 units in its first week. He previously hit No. 3 with his self titled 2014 record. Rihanna's "Anti" and Prince's "Purple Rain" fall to No. 7 and No. 8 with 48,000 and 43,000 respectively.

Meanwhile, Adele's "25" jumps one rung to No. 9 with 41,000 units, thanks in large part to NBC's encore presentation of the British singer's "Live in New York City" concert special. Chris Stapleton's "Traveller" claims the last spot in the top 10 with 31,000 units.
