Finn Wittrock will join Jenny Slate in comedy “Landline”May 20, 2016 - 16:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Finn Wittrock will join Jenny Slate in her upcoming comedy Landline, The Hollywood Reporter reveals. Landline will reunite Slate with the creative duo behind her critically acclaimed indie comedy Obvious Child, Gillian Robespierre and Elisabeth Holm. Robespierre and Holm will co-write the family comedy, with Robespierre taking on directing duties. Along with Slate, the American Horror Story star joins a cast that includes John Turturro, Edie Falco, Jay Duplass and newcomer Abby Quinn. Landline follows three women of the Jacobs family — teenager Ali (Quinn), older sister Dana (Slate) and mom (Falco) — as they navigate lots of sex, drugs and Japanese food in long-lost New York. Holm is producing with Gigi Pritzker and Russell Levine for their respective production banners, OddLot Entertainment and Route One Entertainment. OddLot’s Rachel Shane is executive producing. Wittrock recently appeared in Adam McKay's Oscar-winning financial crisis film The Big Short and is a mainstay on Ryan Murphy's FX anthology series American Horror Story. He next will be seen in Damien Chazelle's Whiplash follow-up La La Land, which stars Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling.
