"Fundamentals of Caring" trailer features Paul Rudd, Selena Gomez (video) May 31, 2016 - 10:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The first trailer for Netflix's original movie "The Fundamentals of Caring" has been released for viewing pleasure, AceShowbiz said. It features Paul Rudd in one of his most brilliant acting performances, playing a retired writer who becomes a caregiver after suffering a personal tragedy. His first client is Trevor, a foul-mouthed 18-year-old with muscular dystrophy, played by Craig Roberts. Ben and Trevor take an impromptu road trip to all the places Trevor has become obsessed with while watching the local news, including their holy grail: the World's Deepest Pit. Along the way, they pick up a sassy runaway (Selena Gomez) and a mother-to-be who help test the pair's survival skills outside of their calculated existence as they come to understand the importance of hope and true friendship. Rob Burnett wrote and directed the film. It was premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival where it received mostly glowing reviews from movie critics. Based on Jonathan Evison's 2013 novel "The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving", it will bow June 24 on the streaming service.
