Fitch holds conference in Yerevan for first time

PanARMENIAN.Net - Fitch held a conference in the Armenian capital city of Yerevan on Wednesday, June 8.

Addressing the attendees, Regional Head of Russia/CIS and Black Sea Region, Fitch Ratings, Dmitri Surkov said that in January 2016, Fitch Ratings affirmed Armenia's long-term foreign and local currency at B+ with a stable outlook.

According to him, Armenia will be rated again on July 22, 2016.

Concerning holding the conference in Armenia, Surkov said they wouldn’t be here if not for the constructive and efficient cooperation with the Central Bank of Armenia, Panorama.am reports.

Surkov also reminded that Fitch boasts a history of 100 years. At present, the company has two offices in New York and London with about 100 employees. The company provides financial solutions, research and forecasts. Besides, it also organizes special trainings and educational partnership programs.
