Black Sabbath announce last ever UK tour dates

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prepare to say farewell to Black Sabbath, as the godfathers of heavy metal have announced details of their last ever tour, Gigwise said.

The 'Paranoid' and 'Iron Man' heroes are currently embarking on what they've dubbed 'the final tour by the greatest metal band of all time' - including a huge headline show at Download Festival this weekend. At Download, the tour dates were confirmed in flyers handed out to fans.

Now, they've revealed that they'll be calling at Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds and London before playing their final two gigs in their hometown of Birmingham next year.

Black Sabbath will play:

JANUARY

22 - Manchester Arena

24 - Glasgow SSE Hydro

26 - Leeds First Direct Arena

29-31 - London O2

FEBRUARY

2-4 - Birmingham Genting Arena

Speaking to Gigwise about potential plans for one final album, guitarist Tony Iommi told Gigwise: "We've got some tracks that we recorded before with Rick Rubin in LA," he replied. "When we did our last album we made 16 tracks, but we only put eight on the album so there are tracks there that could possibly show their face at some point."
