Ross Evans to pen sci-fi film “Gadabout” for Sony

PanARMENIAN.Net - Newcomer Ross Evans has been tapped to pen “Gadabout” for Sony, sources tell Variety.

The film is inspired by the user manual for the Gadabout TM-1050, a time machine for the home mass produced in 1951.

The idea for the project was brought to Evans by Joby Harold (“Edge of Tomorrow”), Tory Tunnell (“Underground”) and Matt Schwartz (“My Blind Brother”), who are all set to produce under their Safe House company banner.

The job is a big break for the young scribe, who had previously created the digital series “Ian” for Stage17, which he wrote, helmed and starred in.
