Eddie Redmayne gets captured in new “Fantastic Beasts” featurette

PanARMENIAN.Net - A newly released "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" featurette offers a lot of never-before-seen footage. In the approximately two-and-a-half minute video, writer and producer J.K. Rowling introduces her new hero Newt Scamander, played by Eddie Redmayne, AceShowbiz said.

"My heroes are always people who feel themselves to be set apart, stigmatized, or others," the "Harry Potter" creator says, "That's at the heart of most of what I write, and it's certainly at the heart of this movie."

In one scene, Newt, Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston) and Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler) are arrested by high-ranking Auror, Percival Graves (Colin Farrell).

"Newt feels more at home with creatures than he does with human beings," Eddie says, before the scene shows his character talking with a plant-like creature.

Another scene sees Jacob's curiosity leading him to open Newt's suitcase, which is filled with "magical creatures." He finds a golden egg and tells Newt, "Hey, Mr. English Guy! I think your egg is hatching." Newt then waves his magic wand to Jacob and both of them disappear.

Directed by David Yates, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", also starring Alison Sudol a.k.a. A Fine Frenzy, Samantha Morton, Ezra Miller, Carmen Ejogo, Jon Voight and Ron Perlman, is coming to U.S. theaters on November 18 in the 3D and IMAX 4K Laser format.
