Manchester City getting John Stones, Nolito, losing Pablo Zabaleta to Roma

PanARMENIAN.Net - Manchester City are on the verge of bidding for Everton defender John Stones following England's exit from Euro 2016, with Manchester United also keen on the player, according to the Express.

Stones, 22, has been targeted by both Manchester clubs and is believed to be eyeing a move away from Everton.

The centre-back tried and failed to engineer a move to Chelsea last summer, with the Blues supposedly now not interested in his signature.

Everton want a reported £45million for their young star.

Also, Nolito is reportedly flying in for talks with Manchester City on Wednesday, June 29 as he closes in on a £13.8million move from Celta Vigo, the Daily Mail says.

According to the Telegraph, the Spain international will be officially confirmed as the second major signing for Pep Guardiola later this week as the new City manager steps up his preparations for pre-season.

In other news, City defender Pablo Zabaleta is in talks over a £2.5million move to Roma.

The Argentine is a big favourite at City but is concerned about an increased lack of playing time.

Zabaleta, 31, has one year left on his current contract at City but could leave the club before his deal is due to expire.
