“The Night Manager” actor Noah Jupe joins Julia Roberts in “Wonder”

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Night Manager actor Noah Jupe has joined Julia Roberts and Jacob Tremblay in Wonder, Lionsgate’s adaptation of the R.J. Palacio YA novel, The Hollywood Reporter reveal.

Owen Wilson is also on the roll call in the project being directed by Stephen Chbosky (The Perks of Being a Wallflower).

The script, by Jack Thorne and Steve Conrad, centers on Auggie Pullman, a young boy who was born with a facial deformity. For the first time, Auggie is going to a mainstream school, starting the fifth grade at Beecher Prep.

Jupe will play Auggie’s best friend at school. (Roberts and Wilson are playing the boy’s parents.)

Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman are producing Wonder via their Mandeville Films banner.

The book has been a massive best-seller since hitting stores in February 2012 via Knopf Books for Young Readers and has sold 2 million copies.

Jupe was recently seen on BBC’s Night Manager opposite Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie, and appeared on Houdini & Doyle as well as Penny Dreadful. The rest of the year is shaping up to be a big one for the young actor as he is due to make his feature debut with World War II drama HHhH with Rosamund Pike, Jack Reynor and Jason Clarke, and he also will star with Sam Worthington and Tom Wilkinson in sci-fi film The Titan.
