Google's own-brand Apple Watch rival renders leak onlineJuly 13, 2016 - 11:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Google's got some pretty cool Android Wear updates on the way, but that doesn't hide the fact that it's not got the most exciting smartwatches supporting it. That looks set to change though, with Google reportedly working on its own-brand Nexus smartwatch to bring the fight to the likes of the Apple Watch, Digital Spy said. And now we've been offered our first potential look at, not one, but two inbound Google wearables thanks to renders based on the company's internal efforts, Digital Spy said. Surfacing via AndroidPolice, the renders are said to be based on designs discussed by internal sources and show two high-end-looking watches with very different designs. Although the smaller of the two models features plenty of soft curves and a clean, rounded finish, the larger device features a more traditional smartwatch design, with two additional buttons and more angles making it look a lot like the LG G Watch. While the smaller of the pair is reportedly doing the internal rounds at Google under the codename Swordfish, its big brother is said to have been handed the moniker Angelfish, Digital Spy said.
