Armenia airline’s maiden flight roars off the runway to Russia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia airline on Monday, July 18 carried out its first regular flight from Yerevan to Mineralnye Vody, Russia, a spokesman for the General Department of Civil Aviation said in a Facebook post.

“The long anticipated flight took place in the morning,” Ruben Grdzelyan said on Monday.

Launched just recently, the air company promised diversity in terms of destinations to attract passengers with low-price service and tickets to Europe, the CIS countries and some parts of Asia.

The airline staff includes several employees of the Georgian air company Airzena, while the remaining personnel is comprised of local experts.
