Charges against man who delivered food to Sasna Tsrer re-qualified

PanARMENIAN.Net - The charges brought against Arthur Sargsyan, who delivered food to Sasna Tsrer armed group during the Yerevan police station siege, has been re-qualified, lawyer Arayik Papikyan said.

According to Papikyan, Sargsyan is currently charged with assisting the armed group, Armenian media report.

On July 23, Sargsyan used his car, loaded with food supplies for Sasna Tsrer, to break through the police cordon near the seized police station.

Earlier, Sargsyan faced the same charges as the other members of Sasna Tsrer (seizure of buildings, hostage-taking and illegal possessions of weapons).
