“Resident Evil: The Final Chapter” teaser trailer features Milla Jovovich

PanARMENIAN.Net - The first official trailer for "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" is set to premiere on August 9. Just four days before its release, actress Milla Jovovich took to Twitter to show fans a trailer preview for the upcoming zombie apocalypse franchise. The brief teaser highlights Jovovich's Alice, the iconic amnesiac heroine of the "Resident Evil" film series, AceShowbiz said.

The 40-year-old actress can be seen getting into action in the 16-second footage that came along with the caption which read, "Teaser for #ResidentEvilFinalChapter: 4 days to the official trailer everyone!!! Can't wait!" The sneak-peek doesn't give much information about the plot, but Alice can be heard briefly saying, "I'm gonna kill every last one of them," as she is riding a motorcycle through gunfire and explosions.

In "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter", Alice will join forces with old friends and an unlikely ally in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between regaining her superhuman abilities at Wesker's hand and Umbrella's impending attack, this will be Alice's most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.

The sixth installment of the "Resident Evil" movie series also stars William Levy, Eoin Macken, Rola, Lee Joon Gi and Ruby Rose. Ali Larter, Iain Glen and Shawn Roberts are set to reprise their role as Claire Redfield, Dr. Alexander Isaacs and Albert Wesker respectively.

Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, the sci-fi thriller hits U.S. theaters on January 27, 2017.
