Armenia’s agricultural export on the rise

PanARMENIAN.Net - An Armenian agriculture official on Tuesday, August 9 shared data on past months’ export volumes, which he said have seen an essential progress compared to the previous years, Tert.am said.

“The export of raw vegetables and fruits at the moment tops last year’s total results; we are now planning to increase it to 120 tons,” Robert Makaryan, a deputy minister of agriculture, told a news conference.

He said that so far, a total of 85,326 tons of row agricultural produce has been exported against the 76,700 tons in 2015 or the 49,800 tons in 2014.

“That signals an essential progress in exports,” Makaryan added.
