Misha from Karabakh comes in 2nd at New Wave Junior song contest

PanARMENIAN.Net - 8-year-old singer Misha (Mikayel Grigoryan), representing Armenia at New Wave Junior, took the second spot at the Russia-hosted song contest.

Misha, who comes from Nagorno Karabakh, scored 87 points out of the possible 88, and continued with a wonderful performance on the second day of the contest, singing the world hit "Uptown Funk" recorded by British producer Mark Ronson and American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars.

Aleksey Zabugin and "Ey Wa" trio from Russia shared the first prize, while another of Russia's representatives and a singer from Kazakhstan took the third spot.
