Frank Ocean scores his first No. 1 album on Billboard 200

PanARMENIAN.Net - Frank Ocean scores his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with his latest record "Blonde". His second studio album has 276,000 total copies sold this week, including 232,000 in traditional album sales, AceShowbiz reports citing Nielsen Music.

"Blonde" logs the third-largest debut of 2016, only behind Drake's "Views" and Beyonce Knowles "Lemonade". "Views" had 1.04 million total copies sold in its debut week, while "Lemonade" got 653,000 total copies in its first week.

At No. 2 on this week's Billboard 200 is Drake's "Views" with 77,000 units. The "Suicide Squad" soundtrack falls to No. 3 with 76,000 units. Tory Lanez's debut studio album "I Told You" lands at No. 4 with 52,000 units, while Lindsey Stirling's new album "Brave Enough" launches at No. 5 with 49,000 units.

Other titles making up this week's top 10 include Twenty One Pilots' "Blurryface" which descends to No. 6 with 33,000 units, Adele's "25" that rises to No. 7 with 28,000 units, Rihanna's "Anti" which climbs up to No. 8 with more than 27,000 units, DJ Khaled's "Major Key" that slips to No. 9 with 27,000 units and the original Broadway cast recording of "Hamilton" which ascends to No. 10 with 23,000 units.
