Azerbaijani wrestlers to lose Olympic medals after failing doping tests

The names of the Olympians are yet to be announced.

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs on Wednesday, August 31 declined to comment on the matter, claiming it hasn’t received any official note from relevant authorities. Toghrul Asgarov and Sharif Sharifov won a gold medal each at the London Games, while Khetag Gazyumov secured bronze medals during both Beijing and London Olympics.
