“Fifty Shades Darker” rolls out steamy new trailer

PanARMENIAN.Net - Universal has released the first trailer for “Fifty Shades Darker”, trading the blindfolds of “Fifty Shades of Grey” for masks and asking viewers to “slip into something darker”, Variety said.

The first dialog in the two-minute clip, released Tuesday, September 13 shows Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) posing in lingerie for Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and “Are you just going to stand there gawking?”

“Yes” he responds.

The trailer then provides a look at a masquerade ball and the escalating romance between the two, who had ended “Fifty Shades of Grey” apart. “This time, no rules, no punishments, and no more secrets,” she tells Christian in the trailer.

The new movie is based on the 2012 novel by British author E.L. James and helmed by director James Foley from a from a script by E. L. James’ husband, Niall Leonard.

Hugh Dancy, Eric Johnson, Jennifer Ehle, Luke Grimes, Rita Ora, Victor Rasuk, Eloise Mumford, Max Martini, Bella Heathcote, Kim Basinger, and Marcia Gay Harden star in “Fifty Shades Darker,” which hits theaters on Feb. 10, 2017. “Fifty Shades Freed” will bow on Feb. 9, 2018.

“Fifty Shades of Grey” was a box office hit, grossing $571 million worldwide.

The trailer debut follows Universal’s release Monday of a teaser trailer and film poster, which gave fans their first look at Ana’s glamorous mask – and the dramatic masquerade ball.
