Rise Festival 2016 announces full line up

PanARMENIAN.Net - With basslines powerful enough to create an avalanche, the likes of Jackmaster, Seth Troxler, and Kano are set to play a festival in the French alps, Gigwise said.

Situated in the Les Deux Alpes resort, Rise Festival brings together some amazing DJs, snow sports, and wellbeing activities.

It’s the first ski/music festival of the season and the only one in December. But you don’t have to worry about a later winter, with a top altitude of 3,568m means that even in the worst winters for snow cover you are never in threat of no snow here, Gigwise said.

It seems to cater for those who like intense sports as well as the more chill festival goers. There’s snowshoeing, husky sledding, yoga, flotation tanks, a German beer market, hot tubs, wild dinners, and a spa.

There are so many different places to watch DJs. One off the highlights is a secret venue reachable only by walking up a mountain. It’s by invite only but if you’re lucky enough to go there’s roaring fire and a 300 cap dance area. Another is the Pano bar, a day time spot where you can dance in ski boots while looking over the slopes.

One of the highlights of the line up is Jackmaster, who completely owned Off Sonar in Barcelona in summer at Apolo.

Meanwhile, house heavy weight Seth Troxler will draw huge crowds and keep the party going well into the early hours and Mercury Prize nominee Kano will go down a storm.
