Kasabian’s new song “Comeback Kid” leaks onlineSeptember 26, 2016 - 17:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A new Kasabian song has leaked online, five days ahead of its official release. ‘Comeback Kid’ can be heard after YouTube user Ori Arbely placed it online this morning (September 26). The song was due to be officially released on Friday, as part of the soundtrack to FIFA 17. The band have played down the song, with their spokesman telling NME recently that it was unlikely to feature on Kasabian’s new album, which will be released next year. However, ‘Comeback Kid’ is their first official new song since the release of their album ’48:13’ in 2014. Since then, they’ve previewed new song ‘Put Your Life On It’ at their concert at Leicester’s King Power Stadium to mark their team Leicester City winning the Premier League. Other new songs in contention for the album include ‘Good Fight’, ‘24/7’, ‘You’re In Love With A Psycho’ and ‘All Through The Night’. Guitarist and producer Serge Pizzorno told Q about the album: “It’s going back to our guitar roots”, while singer Tom Meighan added: “Serge played me the demos and I was ‘Fucking hell!’ It’s nothing like ’48:13’. There’s no fucking interludes or any of that shit.” Other acts on the FIFA 17 soundtrack include Beck, Bastille, Two Door Cinema Club, Barns Courtney, Declan McKenna and Glass Animals.
