Spotify to bring you daily personalised playlists

PanARMENIAN.Net - Making a playlist can be a surprisingly tough activity. Thankfully, the folks at Spotify have a plan to take this mind-melting task out of your hands. The streaming service announced the 'Daily Mix' feature, which will bring users a bevy of playlists, updating every 24 hours, personally tailored to their music taste, Digital Spy reveals.

It essentially takes the same approach as Discover Weekly by selecting songs from your listening habits, but will attempt to bring you an army of songs you simply can't skip instead of opening your eyes to new musical horizons.

If the news already has you downloading and signing up to Spotify, temper your excitement for just a second. New users won't exactly be able to jump in and enjoy the auto-playlist fun.

In order to create playlists you'll actually enjoy, you'll need to listen for a couple of weeks. Until then, you can mentally work on what will be in your 'favourite' and 'banned' track list, so the playlists can be extra lit.

If you're a regular user of the app, though, you'll be greeted with multiple Daily Mix playlists to choose from, assembled in different 'moods' so that you can cry in the corner to Adele or dance around your bedroom to some Katy Perry, Digital Spy said.
