Spain's Marbella recognizes, condemns Armenian Genocide

PanARMENIAN.Net - The city council of Marbella in Spain has adopted an institutional declaration officially recognizing and condemning the Armenian Genocide.

All the political forces participating in the vote approved the document unanimously, Armenia's Foreign Ministry said Friday, September 30.

During discussions, city council representatives dwelled upon the importance of the international recognition of the Genocide and its preventive significance especially given the current geopolitical developments.
