System Of A Down reuniting for string of large European festival datesOctober 10, 2016 - 15:57 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - System Of A Down announced on Monday, October 10 that they are returning to Europe in June/July 2017 to play summer festivals. According to their official website, the band will participate in festivals including Open Air Zenith on June 7 (Nancy, France), Download Festival in Paris on June 10, another one at the O2 Arena in Prague on June 12, Impact Festival in the Polish city of Lodz on June 17. Also among the announced tour dates are the Nimes Festival in France on June 20, Download Festival in Madrid, Spain on June 23, as well as the Main Square Festival in Arras, France on July 2. The group briefly disbanded in August 2006 and reunited in November 2010, embarking on a tour for the following three years. On November 23, 2014, System of a Down announced the Wake Up The Souls Tour to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The tour included a free concert in Republic Square in Yerevan, Armenia on April 23, 2015, their first show in the country.
