Parliament approves new government program

PanARMENIAN.Net - The National Assembly on Friday, October 21 approved the government program, submitted by Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan the day before.

The program was adopted with 85 MPs voting in favor, 7 against, 6 abstentions.

"Congratulations to the government of Armenia," said Galust Sahakyan, the parliament speaker.

Opposition parliamentary fraction Prosperous Armenia declared that its members won't participate in the vote, while those of Orinats Yerkir promised to abstain.
