PanARMENIAN.Net - The first full trailer for "Nocturnal Animals" has finally been released by Focus Features, AceShowbiz said. It sees Amy Adams' Susan Morrow who is haunted by her ex-husband Edward Sheffield (Jake Gyllenhaal) after she "did something horrible to him."

The trailer opens with Susan and Edward who, prior to their marriage, meet on a windy night. "You look beautiful, as always," he says. "Do you know that you were my first crush?" he asks her, during which she admits, "You were my first crush, too."

One scene shows Edward in the present day telling his ex-wife, "When you love someone, you have to be careful with it. You might never get it again." Other scenes show Susan saying, "I did something horrible to him. I left him in a brutal way." She adds, "I'm gonna live to regret this."

"Nocturnal Animals" is directed and written by Tom Ford based on Austin Wright's 1993 novel "Tony and Susan". It follows Susan, an art gallery owner who is haunted by her ex-husband's novel, a violent thriller she interprets as a veiled threat and a symbolic revenge tale.

The upcoming thriller also stars Isla Fisher, Armie Hammer, Michael Shannon, Aaron Johnson, Kim Basinger, Robert Aramayo, Kristin Bauer, Ellie Bamber, Karl Glusman and Peter Nyong'o. It will be released in limited theaters in the U.S. on November 18, before opening wide on December 9.
