James Corden, Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson, Daisy Ridley and Elizabeth Debicki are already on board the project, which is being directed by Will Gluck. Peter Rabbit is being described as a modern interpretation of Potter’s works centering on the rivalry between mischievous young hopper Peter Rabbit and Mr. McGregor, a man trying to keep a rabbit-free garden. Corden is voicing Peter Rabbit, while Gleeson is playing McGregor. Byrne is portraying a character named Bea, likely a stand-in for the author, Potter. Details of Robbie's role are being kept buried in garden, but it is known she will voice a bunny. Gluck is producing Peter Rabbit with Zareh Nalbandian of Animal Logic Entertainment. Gluck also has been revising the latest draft of the script, which was written by Rob Lieber. Doug Belgrad is co-financing and executive producing through his 2.0 Entertainment banner.
