After meeting with the Armenian National Assembly speaker Galust Sahakyan, Defraigne said only a peaceful settlement would bring an end to the suffering of people living in the conflict zone. "We understand that Armenia faces a hard geopolitical situation, but Europe is always open for dialogue and cooperation,"Defraigne said. "The Belgian Senate will spare no effort to support Armenia's decisions in this regard."
