Yerevan to host KIN Women's International Film Festival

PanARMENIAN.Net - The 13th edition of KIN Women's International Film Festival will be held in Yerevan on November 4-8, which will feature 60 movies from 20 countries.

The word "kin" means a woman in Armenian.

The Armenia-hosted festival seeks to promote women’s creativity, establish a network among female filmmakers from different parts of the world and give an insight into various cultures. Also, the event aims to address through films issues of violence, inequality, discrimination and other problems related to women’s rights.

Zeynep Koprulu from Turkey is among this year's guests of the festival which will feature short, documentary, animated and feature films from around the world.
