PanARMENIAN.Net - Ten head coaches have been shortlisted by experts from the FIFA Football Committee for the best FIFA Men’s Coach 2016 of the year, Metro reports.

The coveted list includes four current Premier League managers alongside Wales boss Chris Coleman for his exploits at Euro 2016.

Mauricio Pochettino has been included despite watching his Tottenham team capitulate at the business end of the season to ultimately finish behind their north London rivals Arsenal.

Last year’s winner, Luis Enrique, is again among the candidates after winning the the domestic double with Barcelona and will again come up against Zinedine Zidane, who led Real Madrid to the Champions League title after replacing Rafa Benitez.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been handed a relatively shock entry after he guided the Reds to the final of the League Cup and Europa League but suffered disappointing defeats in both.

In the same mention of disappointment, Diego Simeone, who recreated the past as Atletico Madrid manager by tasting defeat in the Champions League final to their fierce city rivals, is again included.

Elsewhere some big winners have been included in the top ten, Portugal boss Fernando Santos has a good chance of claiming the prize for leading the nation to a famous victory at Euro 2016.

On the story of underdog heroes, Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri rightly takes his place among the best after winning the Premier League against all the odds.

The final list of contenders includes Chris Coleman (Wales), Didier Deschamps (France), Luis Enrique (FC Barcelona), Pep Guardiola (Bayern Munich, Manchester City), Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool), Mauricio Pochettino (Tottenham Hotspur), Claudio Ranieri (Leicester City), Fernando Santos (Portugal), Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid), Zinedine Zidane (Real Madrid).
