PanARMENIAN.Net - Netflix has released a new teaser for "A Series of Unfortunate Events", showing the most dreaded yet highly anticipated meeting in the famous tale by Lemony Snicket, AceShowbiz said. In the video, the orphaned Baudelaire children arrive at the doorstep of the sinister Count Olaf's home.

"He said specifically he was waiting very eagerly to get his hands on you," says a man who accompanies the three children. But soon the children sense something evil with their new guardian. Someone describes him as "a thief and a murderer and so far has completely escaped capture." A woman brands him as a "terrible person," and another calls him a "villain."

But that's not the worst as Olaf assures the Baudelaires that they "haven't the faintest idea" of how horrible he is.

Neil Patrick Harris stars as Count Olaf, Aasif Mandvi plays Uncle Monty, Joan Cusack plays Justice Strauss, Malina Weissman is cast as Violet Baudelaire and Louis Hyne portrays Klaus Baudelaire. The show also stars Patrick Warburton as Lemony Snicket, the author of the best-selling novels.

The series centers on the three orphaned kids who face trials and tribulations at the hands of the evil Count Olaf, a distant uncle, as they try to uncover the secret of their parents' death. Barry Sonnenfeld is directing the drama series, which is set to arrive Friday, January 13, 2017 on Netflix.
