5th National Pediatrics Conference kicks off in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - The 5th National Conference of Pediatricians, currently underway in Yerevan, has brought together more than 350 specialists from around Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh.

To be held on November 4-5, the conference is organized by the Armenian Pediatric Association with the support of the Ministry of Health.

After the launch of the event, Minister Levon Altunyan briefed the attendees about ongoing projects, stressing the importance of honest work.

"Of special importance is the enhancement of our doctors' professional skills and knowledge," Altunyan said.

The first day of the conference featured lectures on issues related to general pediatrics, pediatric endocrinology, oncology and pediatric surgery. A number of prominent professors from Switzerland, Russia and Georgia delivered remarks.
