Lady GaGa to play Donatella Versace in

PanARMENIAN.Net - Lady GaGa reportedly joins the third installment of Ryan Murphy's "American Crime Story". As AceShowbiz reports citing Us Weekly, The Mother Monster is expected to play the role of Donatella Versace in the upcoming season 3 that will depict the Gianni Versace murder by serial killer Andrew Cunanan.

Before delving into the "Versace/Cunanan" story, the show will tackle Hurricane Katrina first in the second season. President George W. Bush, who took a lot of heat for the poor handling of the 2005 crisis and never recovered politically after the natural disaster, is going to be featured in the sophomore set along with other government officials like Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin and Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco.

In the meantime, Lady GaGa stars in another Ryan Murphy anthology series "American Horror Story: Roanoke" as Witch of the Wood. The singer previously led the "Hotel" installment as The Countess who owns the titular hotel. On the big screen, she has landed the lead role in Bradley Cooper's "A Star Is Born" remake.
