“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” int’l trailer unveiled

PanARMENIAN.Net - A new international trailer for "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" has arrived ahead of the film's release next month. While the previous trailers offered just a glimpse of Darth Vader, whose voice is provided by James Earl Jones, the new one gives fans a better look at him as his face is finally shown in full, AceShowbiz said.

The more-than-2-minute video also features a lot of never-before-seen footage including the backstory of Felicity Jones' Jyn Erso. One scene shows her mother Lyra, played by Valene Kane, giving a young Jyn a crystal necklace which is rumored to be one of the Kyber crystals used by the Empire to create the Death Star. "Trust the force," her mother whispers to her.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, the much-awaited "Star Wars" stand-alone movie will arrive in U.S. theaters on December 17. It also stars Diego Luna, Mads Mikkelsen, Forest Whitaker, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Warwick Davis, Jonathan Aris, Jimmy Smits, Genevieve O'Reilly, Riz Ahmed and Ben Mendelsohn.

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" follows Jyn Erso, a Rebellion soldier and outlaw who is about to experience her biggest challenge when Mon Mothma gives her a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star. With the aid of the Rebels, a master swordsman and non-allied forces, Jyn will be in for something bigger than she thinks.
