PanARMENIAN.Net - Warner Bros. has dropped a new trailer for the star-studded drama "Collateral Beauty", AceShowbiz reports. The emotional trailer opens with Will Smith's Howard Inlet, who has lost all hope after losing his daughter, telling Madeleine (Naomie Harris) that he's "trying to fix" his mind.

The next minutes of the video show him doing "strange" things as he writes letters to "time, love and death" instead of people. In several scenes, he encounters Jacob Latimore's Raffi, Keira Knightley's Aimee Moore and Helen Mirren's Briggite who represent each figment of his imagination.

The trailer also offers a new look at Howard's colleagues who are portrayed by Michael Pena and Oscar nominees Kate Winslet and Edward Norton.

"Collateral Beauty" was directed by Oscar winner David Frankle. The synopsis reads, "When a successful New York advertising executive suffers a great tragedy, he retreats from life. While his concerned friends try desperately to reconnect with him, he seeks answers from the universe by writing letters to Love, Time and Death."

"But it's not until his notes bring unexpected personal responses that he begins to understand how these constants interlock in a life fully lived, and how even the deepest loss can reveal moments of meaning and beauty."

"Collateral Beauty" hits U.S. theaters on December 16.
