Azerbaijan army budget to amount to $745 mln in 2017

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan has made revisions in the state budget expenditures for 2017. Accordingly, spending on defense forces will amount to AZN 1.269 billion or some $745 million.

Also, around $65.5 million will be allocated to the national security service, 1.5 million to research in the sphere of security, and some $738 million will be allotted to other expenditures, Haqqin.az reports.

Armenia's state budget for 2017, on the other hand, envisages to spend $440 million on the defense sector.

As PanARMENIAN.Net reported earlier, Azerbaijani defense industry official expenses by several timeslag behind the propagandistic figures released by the country.
