“Star Wars 8”: Details About Benicio Del Toro's character emerge

PanARMENIAN.Net - As details about "Star Wars Episode VIII" are still kept under tight wraps, rumors regarding the plot and characters continue to swirl, AceShowbiz said. Following the recently-surfaced details about the new costume of Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker, another report has emerged suggesting who Benicio Del Toro might be playing in the upcoming movie.

The folks over at MakingStarWars.net reveal that Del Toro will play a "man in black," which is described as "dangerous" and temperament. Fans have speculated that he will be one of the villains since his all-black look makes him sound like he is similar to Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). Meanwhile, some believe that he may play a character similar to Lando as he is said to have a connection with a casino that the site recently revealed.

In addition to unveiling Del Toro's character details, the outlet shares other "early solid rumors" regarding Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran's characters. The 49-year-old actress will allegedly play a "very aristocratic and fancy" character, and even have an "ornate" pink hair. Meanwhile, very little is known about Tran's role, but she is said to get tangled up with John Boyega's Finn "in their shared story."

Set to hit U.S. theaters on December 15, 2017, the eighth installment of the "Star Wars" movie series centers on the story of Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn, Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), Luke Skywalker, Leia (Carrie Fisher) and other characters as they fight back the force of the First Order.

"Star Wars Episode VIII" also sees the return of Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong'o and Andy Serkis who reprise their roles as Captain Phasma, General Hux, Maz Kanata and Supreme Leader Snoke.
