Oscar-nommed Ed Harris confirmed to return for “Westworld” season 2

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Westworld" still has a lot of questions unanswered nearing the end of its first season, but at least one thing’s for sure. HBO recently renewed the show for a second season and now Ed Harris has confirmed that he'll be back for the upcoming installment, AceShowbiz said.

The three-time Academy Award nominee, who plays the mysterious Man in Black, spilled the beans during an appearance on BBC Radio 4. "Yeah, you know, as a matter of fact, I was just talking to Jonah Nolan last night, who's a creator of this thing with his wife Lisa Joy, and yeah, they're doing another season," said the 65-year-old actor. "They're going to do ten more episodes, and I will be involved."

There has been speculation that "Westworld" is actually following two timelines and that Harris' character is actually an older version of William, who is played by Jimmi Simpson. Responding to this theory, Simpson told The Hollywood Reporter, "I can't comment on anything. I wish I could say how wrong or right you are, but you guys have to wait just like we did."

The sci-fi western series will return for its second season in late 2017 or the first half of 2018 due to its elaborate production.
